Simon Tagg is a community champion and Leader of Newcastle Borough Council. In addition to leading the Borough Council, he represents the Westlands Ward, and he is a Staffordshire County Councillor representing the Westlands, Thistleberry and Keele division. Simon is Deputy Chairman (Political) of Newcastle Conservative Association. He was Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for the Newcastle-under-Lyme constituency at the 2024 General Election, where he placed second, winning 10,923 votes.
